Behavioural finance combines concepts in neuroscience, economics and psychologyandexplains how the biological makeup of the brain drives decision making in business and finance, and influences good or bad decisions.
The underpinnings of the whole session will be on how the most difficult part in making financial decisions is managing your emotions. Financial decision making process is supposed to be rational and logical, but is made by humans who are deeply irrational and biased. We overestimate our own wisdom and capabilities, incorrectly assess situations, and continue doing so in fairly predictable patterns.
