3rd International Conference - Sailing Through Turbulence

Greetings!

As announced in the previous CPE Event, the Chapter is organizing its third International Conference to be held on 24th and 25th of November 2016 at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Doha, Qatar with the theme “Sailing Through Turbulence”.

We expect 400 professionals to attend the event which will have speakers sourced globally. We expect a host of dignitaries including the Ambassador of India to Qatar and President/ Vice President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of and Business leaders in Qatar to attend. A draft schedule & timings of the conference sessions is attached to this letter.

This Conference is organized in the backdrop of the financial markets turbulence that marked the beginning of 2016, continuing through recent events such as Brexit. We believe that there is a pressing need to improve our knowledge as finance and accounting professionals of how organisations can not only navigate and survive, but more importantly, discover opportunities and succeed in such turbulent times. To this end the Conference seeks to bring together leading industry and financial sector experts to share their insights with the participants, with particular focus on the role finance professionals can play to ensure such success.

ICAI has approved 12 hours of CPE Credit for the conference

The delegate fee of the conference is as under
Delegate fee QAR 600
ICAI Members (with their membership status active with ICAI)  QAR 450,
Early Bird fee (only for ICAI DOHA CHAPTER MEMBERS)   QAR 300 (for regn. and payment before 30 September 2016)
